GE Capital Aviation Services, General Electric and other defendants were hit with a wrongful death lawsuit May 20 in Connecticut District Court. The lawsuit, brought by Wiley Etter Doyon on behalf of the estate of Abdul Fattah Elaayi, arises from the crash of Pakistan International Airlines flight 8303 in 2020. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Trevor J. Doyon of North Haven. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
