A First Amendment attorney who successfully represented the radio network known for airing far-right syndicated personality Alex Jones’ narrative about Sandy Hook is now at the forefront of challenging a Connecticut “ridicule” law that he argues is unconstitutional.

Connecticut attorney Mario K. Cerame, of Brignole, Bush & Lewis, represented Genesis Communication Network Inc. in a defamation lawsuit filed by the family of a first-grader and school psychologist who were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School in December 2012. The plaintiffs allege that Jones, host of “The Alex Jones Show,” spewed lies about the mass shooting being a hoax, which were distributed by GCN.
