A federal judge partially dismissed an amended complaint for failing to state a claim against the Plainfield Board of Education and its members.

Plaintiffs Daniel Reale and Miriam Irizzary filed a complaint against the board of education, individual board members and the assistant and superintendent of Plainfield Public Schools under claims of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act, the First Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment and failing to intercede to protect their First Amendment rights.
