Following President Joe Biden’s signing of the Honoring Our PACT Act, extending benefits last week to veterans and families affected by toxins around the world, a Connecticut-based attorney with direct experience is among those taking cases of Americans who have been harmed by various contaminants.

Robert “Bob” Reardon of The Reardon Law Firm in New London was a captain in the Marine Corps from 1970 to 1974 at Camp Lejeune, where he used his skills as a civilian attorney to assist active-duty personnel and veterans in a range of matters. Fortunately for Reardon, he lived on nearby Topsail Island during his service, necessitated by a shortage of base housing during the waning years of U.S. operations in Vietnam, and he was not personally exposed.
