In a dramatic climax to the trial of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, a Connecticut jury Wednesday handed up a verdict calling for a total of $965 million in compensatory damages to more than a dozen plaintiffs. The jury also said there should be an award of punitive damages, the amount of which is expected to be decided at a hearing set for Nov. 7. Jones was not present in the courtroom.
