A Connecticut appellate court reversed a trial judgment of the trial court in a landlord-tenant case regarding the interpretation of a COVID-19 executive order related to evictions. The case has been remanded to the trial court, and the summary process action must be dismissed.

The plaintiff, Prime Management, served a notice to quit to the defendant, Jessica Arthur, on July 22, 2021, which required the defendant to quit possession or occupancy by Aug. 24, 2021, according to the opinion.
