Stanley Black & Decker Inc. and top executives were hit with a securities class action on Friday in U.S. District Court in Connecticut. The lawsuit alleged that the company misled investors about the demand for its products during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The named plaintiff, Naresh Vissa Rammohan, is represented by Gregory M. Potrepka, Shannon L. Hopkins and Cole von Richthofen of Levi & Korsinsky. The complaint stated that the plaintiff represents anyone who purchased or acquired Stanley Black & Decker stock between Oct. 28, 2021, and July 28, 2022. Counsel for the plaintiffs did not respond to a request to comment.
