Robinson & Cole filed an insurance coverage lawsuit on March 24 in New York Supreme Court for Erie County on behalf of Hartford Insurance, as subrogee of Adele Podkowa. The suit, for alleged property damage of more than $340,000 arising from a fire ignited during the servicing of residential gutters with "a torch," pursues claims against LeafFilter North of New York, Resilient Consulting Management and Patrick Cummings.
Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 803939/2023, Hartford Insurance Company of the Midwest v. LeafFilter North of New York, LLC et al.
