Wiggin and Dana’s 10-year, $10 million Wiggin Opportunity Initiative has met its target for the third consecutive year by donating $1 million in free legal services to women and minority-owned businesses in communities across the United States.

Launched in 2020, WOI was created to address racial and economic injustices amid reckoning following the murder of George Floyd. The firm pledged to provide $10 million in free legal services to women and minority-owned businesses by 2030 to fuel the success of these businesses and increase diversity among business leaders. This year, the firm reports that it is ahead of schedule, having donated more than $3 million of legal services in its first three years.
