Yale University reached a settlement agreement in a lawsuit alleging the college discriminates against students with mental health disabilities. The joint motion codifies and expands accommodations for disabled students.
Alicia Abramson and Hannah Neves, two Yale undergraduate students who ran into alleged discriminatory obstacles when withdrawing and returning to school after mental health crises, were the named plaintiffs in the class action filed against Yale in November 2022 in Connecticut District Court.
