Michael Cruz, admitted to the bar of the state of Connecticut in May 2017, conceded he did not perform the legal services he was hired to do and did not communicate with the complainant, court documents said. In addition, he did not return the complainant's documents, charged an unreasonable fee, did not provide the extent of representation in writing, nor did he respond to the grievance complaint, the proposed disposition said.

Connecticut's Statewide Grievance Committee released seven grievance complaints against attorneys, with three fee arbitration conditions, two reprimands, two continuing legal education requirements, one presentment and one restitution condition.
Emanuele Cicchiello, admitted to the bar of the state of Connecticut in October 2005, agreed to an order of presentment in one matter, and agreed to consolidate all pending disciplinary matters.
