A federal judge in Connecticut has determined Allied World Insurance presented sufficient evidence to award it damages of more than $3 million after a former employee misled the company into making payments to a com]pany he was involved with and failed to disclose.

Allied World Insurance Company, Allied World Specialty Insurance Company, Allied World National Company, and United States Fire Insurance Co., moved for summary judgment, relying on inadmissible evidence, against James Keating and American Construction & Industrial, LLC.
