Gov. Ned Lamont nominated Justice Raheem L. Mullins to serve as the next chief justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
Mullins is an associate justice on the court, and has been since Nov. 1, 2017. He has participated in more than 150 cases and written around 70 majority opinions.
