Johnson & Johnson, which is negotiating to settle thousands of talcum powder lawsuits tying its baby powder to ovarian cancer, was back in court on Wednesday in a trial involving another disease: mesothelioma.

Ben Braly, of Dean Omar Branham Shirley, told jurors in Connecticut’s Bridgeport Judicial District Court that his client, plaintiff Evan Plotkin, was diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2021, at age 64, after a lifetime of using J&J’s talcum powder products.
