Attorney General William Tong announced that Enzo Biochem Inc. agreed to a settlement of $1.7 million to resolve allegations that it violated Connecticut's False Claims Act after overbilling the state Medicaid program.
Enzo Biochem and subsidiary Enzo Clinical Labs Inc. were located in Farmingdale, New York, and provided clinical lab testing to patients and practitioners in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
