A Waterbury jury returned a $2 million verdict to an employee electrocuted while working in an excavation trench for Eversource, a New England energy provider.
The jury concluded that the plaintiff, Keven Shepard, was not at fault for the injuries he sustained, but the Connecticut Light & Power Co., doing business as Eversource Energy, was negligent.
