Almost four years since the passage of the Police Accountability Act in 2020, the state now harvests the positive effects from the operation of the Office of Inspector General, run by retired Appellate Court Judge Robert Devlin.
In the wake of the George Floyd murder in Minnesota and the rise of the Black Lives Matter protests, the only law Connecticut passed in the pandemic year 2020 was the Police Accountability Act.
