As President Donald Trump takes office for his second term, a federal judge approved a class action settlement giving relief to immigrants who were separated from their U.S. citizen spouses during the first Trump administration.
The decision also comes as attorneys general from the District of Columbia, California, Delaware, New Jersey, New York and other states filed suit Tuesday against the federal government to challenge the Trump immigration executive order.
