A Bridgeport jury determined the Stamford Hospital, the defendant, did not stray from the standard of care after hospital staff failed to detect a pacemaker was misplaced due to an anomaly in the plaintiff's heart.
The verdict was reached on Jan. 16 after three weeks of jury selection and an eight-day trial in front of Superior Court Judge William F. Clark.
