A Bridgeport jury awarded a $5.7 million verdict to a plaintiff who was injured in a car accident. It also concluded the defendant was 100% liable.
The case centered on plaintiff Wanda Gomez, who claimed defendant Keith Claiborne hit her vehicle while he was operating a large box truck. The jury held that Claiborne hit Gomez after he reversed his vehicle without warning.
