Two Connecticut lawyers are in the national spotlight after stepping up to represent the Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Association against the U.S. Department of Justice.

On Tuesday, two lawsuits were filed by anonymous FBI agents and employees to avert the release of the names of individuals who worked on the investigations of the Jan. 6, 2021 insurrection on the capitol.

One of the cases filed in the District of Columbia also included the Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Association, which is a non-profit professional organization that represents nearly 14,000 current and form special agents.
