A federal bankruptcy judge rejected a $16 million settlement with the Sandy Hook families who sued Alex Jones for defamation. Attorneys say the proposed settlement attempted to test the limits of available resolutions.
Judge Christopher Lopez's decision to block the settlement on Wednesday comes nearly two months after he tossed the sale of Infowars, Jones' far-right media platform, to the parent company of the satirical website The Onion.
