Nancy Diaz v. Hartford Housing Authority: A Hartford woman who hurt her ankle after falling on ice and snow in her apartment complex was recently awarded more than $200,000 following a bench trial.
In 2007, Nancy Diaz, 51, lived at Nelton Court in Hartford, an apartment complex with 122 units spread over 14 buildings and controlled by the Hartford Housing Authority. The complex has since been torn down and is being rebuilt.
