Archie Campbell v. PEH I et al.: A Hartford Superior Court jury recently ruled against a North Carolina man who filed a lawsuit after injuring his back when a bar stool at an East Hartford hotel collapsed.
On Oct. 28, 2006, Archie Campbell, now 56, was a guest at the Sheraton Hotel in East Hartford that is owned by a company known as PEH I. A dog enthusiast, Campbell had come to the area to attend a local dog show.
