The attorney general is the top civil lawyer in Connecticut. Decisions made by the office can affect the lives of every resident, shape the business climate and preserve the quality of life that makes Connecticut unique.

The attorney general’s job is not just to defend state agencies, but to protect individuals who do not have a voice and to protect the broader state interest. The attorney general should be, and must be, an advocate on issues that matter to the people of Connecticut. My opponent and I differ sharply on what that means.
