Over the past several decades, the use of mediation has expanded to a wide variety of disputes. Few expansions, however, have proven to be as successful as the introduction of mediation to mortgage foreclosures.

Only someone living in a cave is unaware of the foreclosure crisis that has ravaged the real estate market in this state and the entire country. An estimated 8 million foreclosures have choked the economy and clogged the courts nationwide, with a reported one in every eight mortgages being delinquent or in foreclosure.
