Now that mediation has failed, a flurry of litigation is in the offing in the massive child sex-abuse case involving the late Dr. George Reardon.

Twenty-three plaintiffs’ lawyers are coordinating a major team effort to sue Reardon’s estate and St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford where Reardon practiced medicine for 30 years. The lawyers represent 135 plaintiffs who claim that Reardon sexually abused them as children and took inappropriate photographs of them during what Reardon claimed was for research on child development.
