Connecticut Bar Association Executive Director Tim Hazen unexpectedly announced his retirement, effective the end of this year, after nine years at the organization’s helm.

Louis Pepe, of Hartford-based Pepe & Hazard, said “bar presidents come and go, but Tim has been there, the real face of the CBA for so many people. We’ll miss him.”
