Edward J. Burke III of Avon was arrested in 2005 after investigators reported finding 30 videos and hundreds of images of child pornography on his home computer. Some of the images, authorities said, depicted toddlers tied up, crying and being raped.

In 2006, Burke pled guilty to child pornography charges and was sentenced to just probation. Two years later, Burke again pled guilty to the same crime, based on the same evidence, and this time he has been sentenced to prison.
