Editor’s Note: Raynald Cantin, founder of the Hartford family law firm of Cantin Lawyers PC, died Dec. 22 after a battle with leukemia. He was a member of various bar associations, a special master in Hartford Superior Court, served on the Governor’s Task Force on Child Custody and as special counsel to the City of Hartford, and founded the Connecticut/Western Massachusetts Chapter of Mensa. But those who knew him say he was much more than the sum of his affiliations and accomplishments.
For the last two weeks I have been waiting to read something about Ray Cantin here in the Law Tribune, knowing that he was just too formidable a presence in the Hartford bar not to have an article dedicated to his memory. Apparently, this is it.
