As the campaign season hits its climax, all eyes are on Washington. The outcome of the Obama/ McCain campaign will have far-reaching ramifications for a number of issues ranging from taxes to health care to foreign policy. Similarly the outcome of many of the fiercely fought congressional races will also determine the fate of many significant public policy issues.

One important matter which could have a lot riding on the outcome of the election is arbitration, particularly in the consumer context.
