In May, the Connecticut Bar Association unveiled an initiative to keep women in the profession and announced that five firms had already signed on. A month later, the number of firms signing the Pledge of Commitment is up to eight.

But CBA members in charge of the initiative say the effort is not sputtering. In fact, they say they’ve just begun a drive to find more participants.
