The quotation on the front cover of the program came from Eleanor Roosevelt and read as follows: “A woman is like a tea bag – you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.”
The drawing above the quotation was an excellent likeness of Catherine (Katie) Roraback, a giant of our litigation bar who had passed away last Oct. 17. The place chosen for her memorial could not have been more appropriate: the elegant Litchfield County Courthouse, built circa 1888.
