A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a convicted murderer who sued after a state prosecutor slugged him in the mouth twice during a courtroom mêlée.

Anthony Rogers, 25, of Norwalk filed the suit in July 2006 against Norwalk Assistant State’s Attorney Michael DeJoseph, alleging a civil rights violation and assault and battery.
