Attorney John C. Matulis Jr. dabbled in broadcasting at his college radio station in the 1960s. Now he’s using his radio talk show to enhance the image of the legal profession.

"Law Talk" on WTIC-AM in Hartford started as a show to fill a dead air period on the station’s programming block from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. While it still plays second-fiddle to Boston Red Sox and University of Connecticut sports broadcasts, the show is celebrating its fifth anniversary as a public information resource that’s easily accessible.
