An informal poll of more than two dozen knowledgeable Connecticut attorneys and judges yielded one universally held opinion – that the state has a large and proven pool of jurists from which to fill the two Appellate Court vacancies.
Two names were mentioned far more frequently than any others, those of Litchfield Superior Court Judge Michael R. Sheldon and Middletown Superior Court Judge Robert L. Holzberg.
