U.S. Attorney Kevin J. O’Connor, moonlighting in Washington, D.C., since April as Attorney General Alberto Gonzales’s chief of state, made it known last week that he will soon be working again in Connecticut on a full-time basis.
His imminent return, however, won’t come soon enough to prevent politicians and political experts from weighing in on O’Connor’s chances to succeed his soon-to-be former boss.
