The Glastonbury High School student won a Law Day essay contest this year sponsored by the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association. She then wrote to the group’s outgoing president, Lewis Lerman, at Shelton’s Bai, Pollock, Blueweiss & Mulcahey, with a surprising explanation of what she intends to do with the $500 first prize.
