Bingham McCutchen’s G. Eric Brunstad, Jr., was at the top of his game in arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court Jan. 16, and in a 9-0 decision, it rewarded him in a March 20 ruling.

It resolves a split between circuit courts, abolishes a groundless legal fee doctrine, and allows Brunstad to collect $167,000 his legal team earned working on the case since 2001.
