I have been presented to Judge Janet Hall by the federal Grievance Committee. My sinis having failed to communicate adequately with a client. I did not consult a client before writing a flip ex parte letter to a settlement officer about a case in which I asserted that discussions would be futile, and I did not consult the same client about my decision not to contest certain claims in response to the defendants’ summary judgment motion.
