If the sex abuse allegations of “David Doe” hold up in court, a priest sexually violated him in a church when he was nine and ten years old, leading to lifelong psychological problems and institutionalization.
When Doe sued the church at age 49, however, Hartford Superior Court Judge Robert B. Shapiro told him he was too late. More than 30 years had passed since his 18th birthday.
