Jocelyn M. Griffin and Michael C. Markowicz have joined Murtha Cullina as associates. Griffin, who is resident in the New Haven office, practices in the firm’s litigation department. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Markowicz, who is resident in the Hartford office, also is in the litigation department. He graduated, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.

Jonathan A. Harris has rejoined Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider as a partner in its Hartford office, after working the past five years in Chicago. Harris, whose practice focuses on intellectual property, will also be a member of the firm’s biomedical practice group. His legal experience is in all phases of patent law with an emphasis in the chemical and mechanical fields.
