A Hartford attorney who jumped the gun on his admission into the Connecticut bar has come under fire from disciplinary officials.

Aaron C. Brinkman, an associate at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider who is admitted in New York and the District of Columbia, took and passed the Connecticut bar exam in February, according to the Connecticut Bar Examining Committee; but he failed to complete his application papers, a process that precedes the official swearing-in of new attorneys.
