The Connecticut Bar Association employee in charge of continuing legal education, Michael Fryar, contends he was fired for engaging in union organizing activity, and is filing a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board.

When he was passing out literature at the CBA about unionizing options, Fryar said he assured his fellow employees they wouldn’t face recriminations, because the CBA "knows what the law is."
