On June 5, Michael Del Sole stepped down as president of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association at its annual meeting. Incoming president Lewis S. Lerman acknowledged he has a tough act to follow.
In the past year, Del Sole, of New Haven’s Del Sole & Del Sole, boosted the group’s membership from 174 members to 274 – an impressive feat that Del Sole attributes to a growing collegiality between lawyers in private insurance defense firms, as well as lawyers at “captive” firms aligned with individual insurance companies.
