By recent count, there are over 35 law firm networks with members in the U.S. At least 12 network members are law firms either based in Connecticut or with significant offices in the state.
Generally, membership in such organizations entails devoting otherwise billable time to the affairs of the network, paying membership dues, and incurring travel costs to attend network meetings. The investment associated with network membership is not insubstantial. But presumably the benefits are worth it, since the number and size of these networks keeps growing.
