I visited an interesting booth at the Connecticut Bar Association convention recently. It belonged to a company called Law Cash. I got a bit misdirected at first, and wound up at some booth with a big jug of dollar bills, but they were selling title insurance or something. Law Cash was just down the aisle though.
Law Cash is a company that lends money to litigants. If that idea causes you some pause, join the club. When I asked the guy at the booth however, he told me that he had the ethics thing all taken care of, though he could not give me any Connecticut authority for it. When pressed, he said that Connecticut was still on the fence. So I went looking for some advice.
