As part of my voluntary duties at the Connecticut Bar Association, I (and others) review bills filed in the state House and Senate every day to see how they might affect the legal profession. Admittedly, we are not too far into the legislative season, and some good stuff may come in, but so far I don’t think the annals of political discourse are going to be rewritten this year.
There are bills in both the House and Senate to establish a state polka. I am not sure, but I think they propose the same song. At least I hope so. Otherwise, we could be in for a bruising legislative battle. Does anyone know if we have a state mazurka? Maybe the loser can propose one of those instead.
