Michael Quinn has noticed that jurors have become more cynical. The partner in Waterford’s Polito & Quinn thinks a lot of their skepticism has to do with the proliferation of television ads featuring lawyers who are seeking out clients who might be victims of medical malpractice.
"I feel that jurors are more skeptical than they used to be," Quinn said. That’s bad news for a plaintiff’s lawyer, creating, according to Quinn, an "extra hurdle to get over in jury selection."
