Every attorney is familiar with the term pro bono for donated legal work, but several recent Quinnipiac University School of Law grads are hoping the term "low bono" is the next buzz-phrase to catch on.

The idea is to build a legal practice aimed mainly at folks who make a little too much money to qualify for representation from legal aid groups such as the New Haven Legal Assistance Association or Connecticut Legal Services but still can’t afford the high fees of a regular attorney.
